440 Performance Trainer - Ian Connors

Ian Connors, M.S, CSCS

Ian’s background is in Exercise Science, specifically muscular physiology. After earning his Bachelors & Masters Degree in Exercise Science at Miami University of Ohio, Ian transitioned from research to performance training, earning accreditation as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. His current areas of focus include weightlifting biomechanics, movement screening, joint mobility, and myofascial release techniques for performance and injury reduction.

440 Performance Trainer - Alexis Kroah

Alexis Kroah, B.S.

Alexis is a Sport Performance Coach and a 2012 graduate of Jackson High School. Following high school, Alexis attended Winthrop University and played 4 years of Division 1 lacrosse. She graduated in May of 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. In December of 2016, Alexis completed a 6-month Athletic Performance Internship at the University of California, Los Angeles where she coached several 2012 & 2016 Summer Olympic athletes.

Joey Tupta

Joey’s background comes from previous sports and training experiences accrued through experiences at many different training facilities. After playing football at Walsh Jesuit High School and graduating in 2015, he was offered to play at the University of Akron, but was unable due to injury. He is currently studying Exercise Science at the University of Akron.

Alex Masl

Alex’s background comes from previous sports and training experiences. He has been with the 4.40 family since 2014. He completed a summer internship at 4.40 Performance where he gained experience and knowledge on Sports Performance Coaching. After playing football at Lake High School and graduating in 2016, he was offered to play at the University of Mount Union, but was unable due to injury. He is currently studying Exercise Science at the University of Akron.
