Middle School Lacrosse Specialization (Boy's & Girl's)

What can the athlete expect?

The primary goal of this lacrosse specialization is to group high-level athletes together to improve specificity of training but also to promote team building and unity.

Each athlete can expect to perform a multitude of strength and power movements with an emphasis on biomechanics, technique, and efficiency. Injury reduction and core development will be of focus as well in order to develop whole-body balance. The goal of this Pre-Season training is to develop first step linear and lateral quickness/power, change of direction, and game-speed conditioning.

Who will be coaching these sessions?

Ian Connors and Alexis Kroah will coach these sessions. Ian played attack for the Jackson High School Boys' Lacrosse Team and was a full-time coach for the Middle School Boys' Team. Following High School, Ian earned his Bachelors and Master's Degree in Exercise Science with a focus on muscular physiology as well as accreditation as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Following High School, Alexis attended Winthrop University and played 4 years of Division 1 lacrosse while earning a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science.
